Please Help From:
Jessica Hoffman Foster Early
Friday morning my friend rabbit/cavy breeder Danielle Bowling had a terrible
fire in the rabbit barn she used for quarantine. She had just returned from Convention
and all the rabbits she showed & bought in Indy were killed. She and the
Fire Department were not able to save anything. Danielle doesn't own or show
ML but if it wasn't for her then my daughter Kira wouldn't have gotten
her new ML from Convention. Danielle picked them up from a transporter and
housed them for a month, then brought them to convention (so they could make
the trip here to NJ). Thanks
so much! The MLRCA Disaster Relief
Committee is actively taking donations on behalf of Danielle and her family.
If you live in Danielles general area, and have cages, supplies, or rabbits
you would like to contribute, please email Susan West (Disaster Relief Chairperson) at mailto:lswbuns4ever@sbcglobal.net.
For those who would like to
contribute financially, please click HERE. You will have to option to
donate as much or as little as you like. Remember, every little bit helps. Its time like these when our
great membership steps up, and helps those in need. Thank you all for your
kindness and consideration. The MLRCA Disaster Relief
Committee |

Notice to All Rabbit
Breeders: Recently,
a member of the MLRCA, anonymously and without written consent from our webmaster,
copied and pasted a conversation from the members only section of our web
page. The information was confidential
and this person had no right to do that. While
the people involved in a conversation while communicating PRIVATELY via IM
deeply regret their comments, the person who chose to copy those comments and
release them to others had no right to do so.
As for the content of the private chat, most officers, directors, and
members knew nothing about the comments which were posted for two hours
(midnight to 2 a.m.). Who
among us hasnt said or written something in private to a spouse, friend, or
fellow exhibitor that we would not want released to the general public. The fact it was said is not being denied. The issue has been dealt with, now let it
go. Yes, the comments were uncalled
for, but all involved have resolved this issue. Officers,
directors, and members of the MLRCA do not condone any comments that are
hurtful or derogatory to others. However, the comments made were not shared
in the meeting chat room but in some private instant messages. Until the comments were posted on a public
site, only those involved were aware of that private conversation. Others
need to quit commenting on subjects where they are only privy to incorrect or
misleading information. This is the
only formal statement that will be released about this issue. Any other statements in a public or private
forum are the responsibility of the persons posting them. The Officers and Directors of the

this atrocity. Please read it carefully,
prepare any questions you may have, and join us during the Live Chat
this coming Thursday. We also welcome
